Who had access? Was it logged? Can you show it?

You're responsible for what's in your office, including when someone's working on your computers. Those are the questions to ask about any remote support. Here's how AIRS answers them.

Send this to your IT provider

Who had access?

A named tech, on that PC, for that session, after your staff member agreed. Your IT provider can limit each tech to the offices they should see. When the app closes, access ends.

Was it logged?

Yes. Each step is written down as it happens: what was checked, what was proposed, who approved it and how it ended. The log is tamper-evident, which means changes to it can be detected. It's a text record. Screens aren't recorded.

Can you show it?

Example record. Not a real customer.

Session record: Harbourview Dental, HARBOUR-04, Dana Reyes

10:42Dana agreed to this session and described the problem.
10:49Sam S. read the fix and approved it.
10:50Fix ran. Outlook opened normally.
10:52Session ended. Access closed.

What we won't tell you.

AIRS can't make your office meet any rule, and we make no promise about what your regulator, law society, college or insurer will accept. That's for you and them to work out. Ask them, and show them what you see here.

It's new

AIRS is pre-release. Expect your IT provider to ask hard questions, and they should.

It isn't code-signed yet

That's on the way. Until then, Windows may warn about it, so nobody should run it unless your tech has told them to.

It's for Windows PCs

Mac is planned, not here. It needs the internet up, and a locked-out PC can't run it.

Be careful with any remote tool.

Offices like yours are targets. Remote tools get disguised as invoices, statements and invitations. Your staff are right to be suspicious, and we don't want that to change.

Read the plain page for your staff

The AIRS app on the client's PC, showing each step in plain language, a chat with the tech, and Pause and End session buttons.
What your staff member sees during a session. Product preview with sample data.

AIRS reaches your office through your IT provider.

They're the right people to judge it, and they'd be the ones using it. If you don't have one, this isn't for you yet.

Send this to your IT person

Here's a note you can use. Copy it into an email or a text.

Hi, could you look at AIRS by NetDNA for us? It keeps a written record of each support session: who had access, what was done and who approved it. I'd like your view on whether it suits how we work. https://airsremote.com/offices.php

Questions

Can the tech read patient or client files?

The checks look at settings and logs. The AI can also pick from 16 reviewed small fixes. A tech signs anything else that changes the PC, and your staff member sees each step and why. Talk to your IT provider about what they should and shouldn't touch.

Where does the AI fit in?

It runs on the AIRS server, not on your PCs. It works from what the checks read and what your staff member types. It can only reach for 16 reviewed small fixes, which your IT provider can turn off. Anything else that changes a PC needs a tech's signature.

Is this approved by my regulator?

No regulator has reviewed AIRS, and we don't claim any approval.

How long is the record kept?

That isn't settled, as AIRS is pre-release. Ask before you rely on it.

Can my staff refuse?

Yes. It only runs when they agree, for that session, and they can pause or end it at any time.

Who do I ask for the record?

Your IT provider. They run the sessions and can get it for you.
